Breaking out still bothering you? We’ve got answers to exactly why you’re getting pimples, where you’re getting them, and how to make them go far, far away. Check out our handy dandy face map after the jump.

Zone 1 & 2: Digestive System — To clear up this area of your face, try to eat less processed food and junk food, replace them with cooling foods and lots of water, while also reducing the amount of fat in your diet.

Zone 3: Liver — Food allergies are prone to show up in this area of your face first, so watch out what you’re eating. If you’re breaking out in this area, try cutting out alcohol, greasy food, and dairy products for a while. Light exercise and sleep also help, so that your liver can refresh itself.

Zones 4, 5, 7 & 8: Liver – Eye issues equal dehydration. Be sure to fill up your tank with a lot of H2O.

Zone 6: Heart — Stay away from spicy foods and up your Vitamin B and Omega 3′s. Watch your blood pressure, and since this zone is also full of dilated pores, be sure to use oil free skin products that don’e clog your pores.

Zone 9 & 10: Respiratory system — Smoking, allergies, or even being overheated lead to problems in these areas. Keep your body in alkaline mode by avoiding acidic foods like meat, dairy, alcohol, sugar, and caffeine, and adding in a lot more green leafy veggies and get more fresh, clean air.

Zone 11 & 12: Hormones — Breakouts in this area are a sign of stress and hormone changes (i.e. ovulation, so watch out baby mamas). Sleep, chug water, eat a lot of veggies, and wash your face daily.

Zone 13: Stomach — Eat more fiber, and flush out toxins with water and herbal tea.

14: Illness — Breaking out in this area of your face means that your body is trying to fight off bacteria. Drink water, relax, detox, and work out to help speed up the process.
